Nightlife – South Bank windows

Looking through a window painted with the words "cinnamon rolls" at a chef

So there I was traipsing round central London, on and off the tube, trying to get Christmassy shots that I might be able to use commercially. I had planned a few locations. And every single one of them was a disappointment. That will teach me to try to be commercial.

I brought out the wrong lens. There weren’t enough lights on the trees. No-one was wearing a Santa hat. My list of excuses could go on. But my last location proved to be a hit. Not for commercial Christmas photos but the Christmas market on the South Bank gave me a great twist on my continuing theme of peering through windows. I have previously posted photos of Soho windows. So here are some South Bank windows – with a very festive feel.

  1. I really like the first image; just because I love cafe/restaurant/bar scenes. I like the processing on these (or have you processed them any?) They have nice colour tones, and lots of xmas feel.
