Life in the fast lane – Olympic men’s marathon
Some more Olympics photos… just before the Paralympics start.
I went to the Men’s Marathon on the last day of the Olympics. Standing by St Paul’s the crowd were amazing. We cheered on every runner no matter how far behind they were. It was very humbling to see men from some of the world’s smallest and poorest countries running through the streets of our city. So we cheered on the Andorran athlete, the East Timor runner, the athlete from Lesotho as well as the great Kenyans and of course the Brits.
And of course, we all took lots of photos. It was the last day of the Olympics – we needed something to remember it by – and not just the souvenir tat that we had bought.

Love the first image!
Really like the first image.
