Having the time of our life – The things you find on your way home

I haven’t posted for a while because I haven’t been out with my camera for a while. So last week I thought I would rectify this and go and shoot (with my camera!) commuters on their way home from work.

As I wandered over Waterloo Bridge, I heard music coming from the other side of the bridge so, dodging the buses that speed over that bridge, I got across to the other side, still alive, and was rewarded with a free gig outside the National Theatre. And, amazingly for this summer, the rain stopped for long enough for the whole gig to finish. People stopped by on their way home from work and egged on by the professional dancers on the stage, some really got their groove on, while others were a little more reticent – and age didn’t seem to matter.
