Ahh… this is the life – on the South Bank
The 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain is being celebrated on one of its original sites this summer – the South Bank. The Festival includes an exhibtion by Tracey Emin at the Hayward Gallery, Wayne Hemmingway’s Vintage festival, Ray Davies curating Meltdown at the Royal Festival Hall and lots of outdoor art and fun – including a man-made beach.
The last day of preparations and the next day it was all finished for Londoners to enjoy until September.
